Our home computer had simply decided to stop working one day. It would not boot up, and was dead in the water. So I decided to take it into Xactec to see if you could perform a miracle.
After only about an hour, I received a call from Ethan. He was extremely knowledgeable and we discussed several options to try and fix my computer. Ethan was very thorough and went through all of my options. We decided that it would be best to just “wipe” it clean and start from scratch.
We had only been off the phone with each other for about 15 mins when Ethan called back. He was calling to let me know that he had discovered some family pictures of mine on the unit. Specifically baby photos of my now 8 yr old son. He was calling to see if I wanted him to save them; as we had previously agreed to “wipe” it clean. Of course, I wanted those pictures, and could not thank him enough.
Now do you think the Big Box chains would have called back? I don’t think so. I think they would have just “wiped” it and given it back.
Ethan didn’t have to call me back, and I would have never known. But he did, and I’m extremely grateful. This is why I do business with Xactec, will continue to do business with Xactec and will recommend Xactec to all of my friends and family.
